And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you've found the right job posting.The RoleThe Food Safety Supervisor plays a key role in our kitchens, responsible for monitoring and verifying that food production adheres to safety and quality standards.We are looking for an energetic Food Safety Supervisor with experience in ready-to-eat meal production environments.ResponsibilitiesActively participate in regulatory inspection readiness, processes and corrective actionsMonitor critical limits with daily checks of refrigeration, sanitation chemicals, dish machine operation, etcReview and verify records for cook-chill processesAssist in developing and implementing food safety programs including Chef audits, internal assessments, training materials.Train GMPs, sanitation, and safe food handling to employees and Chef teamsPromote a food safety culture within the organizationIdentify and assess potential food safety risks in the production processMonitor and inspect food production, handling, and storage areas for compliance with food safety standardsAssist with environmental monitoring and shelf life testingQualificationsBilingual (Spanish/ English)Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or equivalent experience in a high compliance environmentCertified Food Safety Manager (e.g., ServSafe) or equivalent certificationProven experience in food safety, quality control, or a related roleStrong knowledge of food safety regulations and standardsExcellent communication and training skillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesAttention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safetyBenefitsCompetitive hourly ratePaid weekly401K and health benefits availableOpportunities for professional growth and developmentLunch served dailyAll final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
